The BET Awards 2018

The BET Awards has indeed been one of the greatest awarding events organized to celebrate African Americans who are in the entertainment industry every year. It is being broadcasted live on BET TV featuring numbers of great performances by artists and a lot of entertaining programs. With an average of 7 million viewers, the BET Awards remain the highest rated awards shows on cable television.

BET Awards 2018 Live TV This event celebrates and acknowledges the achievement of individuals who are chosen by the voting academy which comprises of about 500 individuals from blogging, media and music industry. The winners are presented with the BET Award Trophy. This Trophy was first designed by Carlos Rodriquez and was later redesigned using plated steel and black crystal.

It is no longer news that celebrities in the entertainment industry and athletes will be brought together at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 24 to be honored.

This year’s BET Awards will be celebrating its 16th year and it is definitely going to be a fun-filled experience with amazing entertaining moments. This great event is being sponsored by BET Networks and AEG and will be presented live to everyone by Coca-Cola.

Celebrities are expected to step on the red carpet in style when the pre-show coverage is aired at 6.p.m ET on Bet.com and through the BET Now app that is made available to cable users.

The 16th BET Awards and the milestone anniversary will be hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross. Nicki Minaj, Laverne Cox, Ciara, SZA, Chris Brown, Rae Sremmurd, Nipsey Hussle and LL Cool J, Kamaiyah, Ella Mai and Wondagurl. Additionally, members of the Compton Sounders Drummers, Syncopated Ladies and World of Dance will join the lineup. NBA veteran Doug Christie; professional dunker Chris Staples and streetball star Larry “Bone Collector” Williams round off the all-star teams. Fat Joe and Big Boy join this year’s matchup as team coaches, alongside guest commentators Jemele Hill, Big Tigger, Gia Peppers and Christian Crosby among others are slated to be taking over the center stage during this big event.
